Betty P. SchabelBetty Schabel, 80, of 406 S. Main Street died Wednesday Aug. 3, 2005 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI. She was born October 22, 1924 in Lomira, WI the daughter of Benjamin and Clara Unferth. On May 16, 1942 she married Franklin Schabel at St. Mary's Church in Lomira. Betty was a member at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. She was dedicated to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards with the family and supporting them in all their sporting events.Survivors: include three daughters: Carol (Lloyd) Wilcox of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Selma (Bill) Treffert of Pewaukee and Joan (Ron) Roberts of Fond du Lac; two sons Dennis (Elaine) Schabel and Jeffrey (fiancée) Joan Relien) Schabel both of Fond du Lac; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren. Also survived by four sisters Jeanette (Phil) Patterson of Ashford, Marianne Wondra of Campbellsport, Linda (Lloyd) Bonlender of Lowell and Sue Soeller of Fond du lac; two brothers Kenneth (Lucille) Unferth and Earl Unferth both of Fond du Lac; sister-in-laws Jeanette (Melvin) Kahlhamer of Mayville and Eileen Flash of Campbellsport and her good friend Marion Timmer. Aunts, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her husband Franklin, her sister Ella Mae and her brother Paul Klebs precede her in death.



Visitation: Friday Aug. 5, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday Aug. 6, 2005 at 10:30 AM also at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 am until the time of services.In leu of flowers please give to Hospice Hope or your favorite charity. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
