Betty L. Smith

Betty L. Smith, age 94, of North Fond du Lac, died Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 11, 1930, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Frank and Minnie (Meyn) Stueber. Betty graduated from Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac in 1948. 

Betty was married to LeRoy Smith who died in 2006. They had three children, Mary (Don) Belongia, Lori White and the late Jim White, and Michael Smith; five grandchildren, Tracy (Mike) Clark, Brian (Christianna) Belongia, Jessica (Ron) Schumacher, Kyle (Mari) Smith, Travis White and fiancé Paige Ebertz; ten great-grandchildren and number 11 on the way; three sisters-in-law, Marge Stueber, Nancy Stueber, and Kathy Stueber; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Leatrice (Bill) Keding and Bernice (Dick) McCarthy; five brothers, Robert Stueber, Verne (Becky) Stueber, Darold Stueber, Larry Stueber, Lester Stueber; two brothers-in-law, Stanley (Rita) Smith and Gordon (Rosemary) Smith.

Per Betty’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place and private family interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
