Beverly A. Rhoades

Beverly A. Rhoades, age 75, of 23 Doty St, Fond du Lac, died Friday, February 02, 2007 at ManorCare Health Services. She was born on August 23, 1931 in Green Bay the daughter of Harry and Ethel (DeGrand) Nelson. On October 4, 1946 she married George W. Rhoades Sr. in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2001. Beverly was a Goldstar Mother. She loved playing bingo, playing cards, gambling, fishing with her husband, traveling, taking rides, and old movies, especially westerns and war movies.SURVIVORS: thirteen children, Beverly Gerner of Waupaca, Linda (Gary) Vanpay of Green Bay, Rosemarie Rhoades of Green Bay, Delorr (Dennis) Nickel of Eden, George (Deborah) Rhoades Jr. of Fond du Lac, Diane (Donald) Ollerman Jr. of North Fond du Lac, Marie (Duane) Kraus of Fond du Lac, Lori (Fay) James Fond du Lac, Theresa (Jim) Hebenstreich of Fond du Lac, Richard (Theresa) Rhoades of North Fond du Lac, Thomas (Mary) Rhoades of North Fond du Lac, Michael Rhoades of Fond du Lac, and Lawrence Rhoades of Fond du Lac, thirty-eight grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren,two brothers, David Nelson and Bob (Linda) Nelson, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Louis, one brother, William, one sister, Joan Jensen, two sons in law Emmet Gerner and Robert Culshaw, and eight grandchildren.



VISITATION: Monday, February 5, 2007 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Parish-St. Mary's Church. Rev. James Jaeger will be officiating. Cremation will follow the services with inurnment to take place at Pembine Cemetery, Pembine, WI. Friends may call on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. The family wishes to give special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at St. Agnes Hospital and the nurses at ManorCare for their care of Beverly.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
