Beverly G. Hackbarth

Beverly G. Hackbarth, age 80, of 566 8th St, Fond du Lac, died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital. She was born on October 13, 1929 in West Depere the daughter of Joseph and Grace (Phillips) Rentmeister. She was a 1947 graduate of Fond du Lac High School. On March 20, 1948 she married George Hackbarth at Plymouth Congregational Church, Fond du Lac. Beverly worked as legal secretary for Attorney William McEssey, and then worked for the State as a legal secretary for the public defenders office in Oshkosh until her retirement. Beverly enjoyed working with the foster grandparents program, and also was an assistant teacher at Roberts School. She loved to travel with her traveling companion Phyllis R. Radtke.SURVIVORS: her husband George of Fond du Lac, three son, Michael (Debra) Hackbarth of Fond du Lac, Mark (Cheryl) Hackbarth of Stillwater, MN, Brian Hackbarth of St. Paul, MN, four granddaughters, Meghan Hackbarth, Dana Hackbarth (teaching in Seoul, South Korea), Amy (Anthony) Sanders, and Kelly Hackbarth, one great-granddaughter, Geneva Hackbarth-Sanders, two brothers, Burton (Yvonne) Rentmeister, Bennett (Magdalena) Rentmeister, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents



VISITATION: Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 1-2 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Private family services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the Reverend Michael Hackbarth officiating. Burial will take place at Rienzi Cemetery.
