Beverly J. Balson

Beverly J. Balson, 67, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, December 27, 2010 at University Hospital Madison following a brief illness. She was born October 26, 1943 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Edward L. and Olga T. Luttenberger Ballwanz. Beverly was a 1962 graduate of Goodrich High School. On July 30, 1962 she married David C. Balson at Church of Peace, Fond du Lac. She worked on the family farm with her husband, was a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn and Retlaw Hotel, and also was a caretaker for a couple of elderly women. Beverly was a member of Church of Peace, Farm Bureau Women's Committee, and Town of Fond du Lac Park Committee. Beverly enjoyed sewing, reading, putting together puzzles, was an animal lover, and loved spending time at the cottage up north.SURVIVORS: her husband, David; three children, Brian (Julie) Balson, Fond du Lac, Bruce (Sandy) Balson, Fond du Lac, Brenda (Mark) Post, Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren, Tyler (fiancée, Kelsey Stokes) Balson, Katlynn Balson, Matthew, Jacob and Ashley Balson, Holly and Isabel Post. She is further survived by one sister, Helen (Matt) Spranger; two brothers, Edward Ballwanz and William (Pat) Ballwanz; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives; her golden retriever, Bella. She was preceded in death by her parents.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 8 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 10 "“ 11 AM at church. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Church of Peace, 158 South Military Road, Fond du Lac, with Rev. Gerald Schrankler officiating.
