Beverly J. Burgert

Beverly J. Burgert, 78 formerly of 503 Roosevelt Street and a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the past 3 years died peacefully Monday, May 14, 2007 with her family at her side. She was born on January 15, 1929 the daughter of Roy and Vera Jacobs Rady. On July 7, 1951 she married Lester M. Burgert at Division Street Methodist Church, Fond du Lac. Lester preceded her in death on May 17, 1998. Beverly worked at Northern Casket Company and was a clerk at Walgreen's. Her dream job of being a mom was realized by adopting her two children, Deb and Dan. Beverly was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran, Church Brownie Troop Leader and was involved in school activities with the kids. She loved camping at Wilderness Campground in Montello.Survivors include her daughter Deb (Ross) Marquette, Greenville, son Dan (Theresa) Burgert, Sheboygan, two brothers, Ted (Katy) Rady, Fond du Lac, and Roy (Liz) Rady, Manitowoc, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bernice (Roger) Sterr, Lomira, nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.



Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16, 2007 from 4-7 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Reverend Douglas V. Hedman officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum."The family extends a thank you to Pastor Dean Desilet, Bridget, Joann, Sue, Casey, and the rest of the staff of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, also a special thank you to Teresa Wiersma, Nurse Practitioner."Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
