Beverly J. Howard

Beverly J. Howard, 74, of 639 W. Scott Street, died Thursday, October 09, 2008, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born May 6, 1934, in Rosendale, the daughter of Alvin and Gladys Smith Ballard. On September 5, 1964, she married the love of her life, Patrick M. Howard, at the Church of Peace and together, their family grew. Beverly was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church of Rogersville. She was formerly employed by Mercury Marine from 1966 to 1996. Beverly was a member of the Oakfield VFW Auxiliary and the Fond du Lac County Women's' Bowling Association. Along with bowling, she enjoyed golf, washing and ironing, trips to Florida and Myrtle Beach, and working at the Kiwanis fish fry at Walleye Weekend. Surviving is her husband, Pat, two daughters, Bonnie (Mark) Wilson of Dallas, TX, and Debra (James "Google") Borndahl of Fond du Lac; three sons, Lin Howard of Tacoma, WA, Michael "Little Mike" (Laura) Schwandt of Fond du Lac, and Scott (Terri) Howard of Eustis FL; nine grandchildren, Christy Howard, Heather (Terry) Huseman, Charley Howard, Heidi (Aaron) Potratz, David Wilson, Dustin (Brandis) Howard, James Wilson, PVT Nikki Schwandt, and Ryan Howard, and three great-grandchildren, MaKenya, Olivia, and Landon. She is further survived by a sister, Nancy (Eugene "Pee Wee") Pfalzgraf of Oakfield, a brother, William Ballard of Lamartine, a sister-in-law, Maggie Ballard of Fond du Lac, special nieces and nephews, Bill, Lisa, Eric, Cindi, Jackie, Vicki, Austin, Amiee, Jamie, Taylor and other relatives and friends. Her parents, a son, Mike "Big Mike" Howard, and a brother, Dale Ballard, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Beverly J. Howard will be on Sunday, October 12, 2008, from 3 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Monday, October 13th from 10 to 11 am at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Rogersville. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Monday at the church. The Rev. Kimberly Stowell will officiate and entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
