Beverly J. Schaub, 75, of 320 McKinley Street, North Fond du Lac, died Sunday, February 28, 2010, at the Hospice Home of Hope surrounded by her family. She was born July 25, 1934, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Avery and Lucille Hanrahan Teachout. On July 9, 1955, she married James Schaub at St. Patrick's Church. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1984. Mrs. Schaub was formerly employed by Wal-Mart as an associate for 17 years. Beverly was extremely proud of all of her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed watching the North Fondy Orioles, Laconia Spartans, Fond du Lac Cardinals, Oshkosh West Wildcats, and the Ripon Redhawks. Her passion for professional sports included the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks, and the Wisconsin Badgers. Surviving are two daughters, Debbie (Randy) Gorske of North Fond du Lac, and Shelley (Wayne) Schmidt of Rosendale, two sons, Jim (Deanne) Schaub, Jr. of Fond du Lac, and Dan (Cindy) Schaub of Marksville, LA, nine grandchildren, Nicole (Dan) Sutter, Lindsey (Joe) Michels, Megan Schaub, Bria Schaub, T.J. Schaub, Lauren Campbell, Eric Schmidt, Kristyn Schmidt, and Kaitlyn Schmidt. A sister, Kathleen Sieloff of North Fond du Lac, brother-in-law John Stateson of Fond du Lac, sisters-in-law Janet Teachout of Waupun, and Kass Schaub of Flordia, further survives her. Her parents, husband, a son Terry, a sister, Susie Stateson, a brother, Thomas Teachout, and two brothers-in-law, Jack Schaub and John Sieloff preceded her in death.
Visitation for Mrs. Beverly J. Schaub will be on Thursday, March 4, 2010, from 11 to 2 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home on Thursday. The Rev. Luke Strand will officiate and inurnment of cremated remains will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be directed to either the Hospice Home of Hope or the North Fond du Lac Swimming Pool Fund.
