Beverly M. Abraham, 74, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at All About Life Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born the daughter of Harry W. and Esther M. Billington Anthes on August 8, 1933 in Oshkosh, WI. On December 4, 1954 she married Gerald H. Abraham. Beverly received her nursing degree from Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing and worked as an RN in the Medical Surgery unit of St. Agnes Hospital for 25 years. Most recently she was the head of Utilization Review at St. Agnes Hospital retiring in 1997. She was a member of Church of Peace for over fifty years. Beverly was a resident of Van Dyne for most of her life until moving to Fond du Lac in 2005. She was a former charter member of the Van Dyne Lioness Club and the Van Dyne Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Beverly enjoyed music, reading, playing cards, sewing, bowling, water aerobics and was an avid golfer.SURVIVORS: her husband Gerald; one son, Michael Abraham, Fond du Lac; two daughters, Debra (Dale) Potratz, Fond du Lac and Betsy (Edward) Soukup, Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Ryan (Kelly) Potratz, Aaron (Heidi) Potratz, Nathan (Danielle) Potratz, Kristen Potratz; two great-grandchildren, Makenya and Landon Potratz; two brothers, Gary (Eva) Anthes, Campbellsport, Dennis Anthes, King; one sister, Pat (Tom) Binder, Oshkosh; one step-brother, Carlton (JoAnn) Klemp, Neenah; one step-sister, Carla (Danny) Goffard, DePere. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Kathy Schilling and her step-father, Henry Klemp.
VISITATION: will be from 11-4 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Chuck Fluegel officiating.
