Bruce A. "The Clock Man" Pilak, 62 of Fond du Lac, WI. died unexpectedly Monday October 17, 2011 at his residence. He was born on February 27, 1949 the son of Walter L. and Lorraine C. Holmes Pilak in Milwaukee, WI. Bruce owned and operated Time on My Hands Clock Shop in Fond du Lac. He worked at Rueping Leather Co. until its closing and later at Oshkosh Truck. He was a member of the NRA. His passions were his clocks, Harley Davidson's, his daughters and grandbabies. He is survived by his mother Lorraine Pilak of Fond du Lac, WI, two daughters: Jennifer (friend Mike Pfeifer) Vandeslunt of Brandon; Tara (Tim) Brenner of Fond du Lac, WI., seven grandchildren: Avery, Bailey, Jaxon, Carson, Devon, Dylon, and Riley. Bruce is further survived by one brother: Brian Pilak of Fond du Lac, WI; one sister: Marla (August) Pflum of Montello, WI, his former wives; Lesley Morse of Oakfield, Julie Scherer of Fond du Lac, WI. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter.
Visitation: Friday October 21, 2011 from 3:30-6:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. Fond du Lac, WI . Funeral: Friday, October 21, 2011 at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Reverend Derek Vandeslunt will officiate. Cremation will follow the traditional services. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
