Carl A. Marquardt

Carl. A." PaPa" Marquardt, 82 of Fond du Lac died Friday, November 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Sheboygan on April 29, 1930 the son of Henry and Meta Wolters Marquardt. On July 28, 1956 he married Donna M. Eggers at Presentation Catholic Church, North Fond du Lac. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Air Force. He worked at Giddings & Lewis retiring in 1992.He was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. He enjoyed being with his family especially his ten granddaughters. Carl and his wife Donna loved children and did home child care. He especially liked shopping with his son-in-law Tom.SURVIVORS: wife Donna M. Marquardt, Fond du Lac, two sons, Jeff (Tammy) Marquardt, Menasha, Jim (Vicky) Marquardt, Sheboygan, three daughters, Gail (Dan) Lousier, Random Lake, Annie (Tom) Leonard, Shawano, Christy (Justin) Marquardt-Copening, Oshkosh, ten granddaughters, Sara, Laura, Anna, Amie (Brian) Beemen, Katie, Mandie, Lisa (Zach)McKenzie, Heidi, Ava, Cora, and one great-grandson Elliot McKenzie, three step-grandchildren Megan, Sean, Peyton, special third son "GF" and Carl's special girls, Tess, Hannah, and Rachel Cedarholm.. Carl is further survived by seven brothers and sisters, Bernice Resop, Fond du Lac, Kenneth (Marlene) Marquardt, Green Bay, Henrietta Scholten, Sheboygan Falls, Elaine (Leroy) Patt, Van Dyne, Annette Marquard, Fond du Lac, Nancy (Bob) Dempsey, Fond du Lac, Janice Eberhardy, Fond du Lac, Sister in law Judy Marquardt of Fond du Lac, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Helen Altman, one brother Romie, two brother-in-laws Bob Resop and Hank Scholten.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church, 678 Western Avenue, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:0 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church.
