Carl H. Gray

August 14, 1946 — February 25, 2008

Carl H. Gray, Jr. age 61 of 395 East 2nd Street died Monday, February 25, 2008 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Fond du Lac the son of Carl H. and Ruth Beltz Gray Sr. On August 28, 1970 he married Nan Olsen at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School Class of 1964. After graduation from high school he enlisted in the U.S Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam War. Carl worked at Gateway Transportation and later worked for B.C. I. Burke Company for 28 years until 2004. He was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.SURVIVORS: include his wife, Nan Gray, Fond du Lac, two daughters, Kristine (Mark) Harmsen, Fond du Lac, Michelle Gray and special friend Paul King, a son Rich Gray, Fond du Lac, his special and precious grandchildren; T.J. and Kayla Schmidt, and Dakota Dahl. Carl is further survived by his mother, Ruth Gray, Fond du Lac, a brother, David E. (Della) Gray, Fond du Lac, a sister, Kathy Gray and special friend John Mattson, Wautoma, special aunts and uncle, Marion Salzwedel, Fond du Lac, LaVerne Kiefner, North Fond du Lac, Patricia Gray, Fond du Lac, Leo Gray, Fond du Lac. He is further survived by one sister-in-law, Doris (Gordon) Treffert, North Fond du Lac, and two brother-in laws, Vernie (Gertie) Olsen, Menomonee Falls and Robert (Socorro) Olsen, Fond du Lac. His father, maternal and paternal grand parents, preceded Carl in death.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 1 to 3 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue. FUNERAL: Memorial Services will be held Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Reverend Shari Routh officiating. Cremation has taken place.Memorials appreciated to the family.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
