Carl K. Braeger

Carl K. Braeger, age 75, of W4809 Brown Deer Ave, Redgranite, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2008 at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born on December 25, 1932 in Milwaukee beloved son of Carl and Anna Braeger. Carl served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. On July 30, 1966 he married Roberta Palms in Fairchild, WI. He worked at Ladish in Cudahy for thirty-six years. He was an avid swimmer; he enjoyed reading, nature, and loved his animals. He was a member of the Eagles.SURVIVORS: his wife Roberta of Redgranite, three children, Lynn (James) Grossmeyer of Germantown, Charles Braeger of Milwaukee, Robert Braeger of Milwaukee, two grandchildren, Kari (Aaron) Schulz of Glendale, Jamie (fiancé Mark Fairweather) Zimmerman of Wauwatosa, two great-granddaughters, Sydney and Kendall Schulz, beloved son in law to, Iva Palms, and brother in law to the Palms family, sister in law, Dolores Braeger, nieces and nephews, Mark (Ellen) Braeger, Kathy (Jeff) Boyce, and Christopher (Melena) Braeger, and other great nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Arnold Braeger.
