Carl Schuppe

June 2, 1913 — April 28, 2008

Carl Schuppe, 94, formerly of 112 N. Butler Street, and currently of 545 Luco Road, died Monday, April 28, 2008, at his residence. He was born June 2, 1913, in Trevor, WI, the son of Phillip and Amolia "Molly" Dumler Schuppe. On June 13, 1936, he married Florence I. Ehlert at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mr. Schuppe was a member of Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran Church. Fred Rueping Leather Company employed him from 1931 to 1978, when he retired. Carl enjoyed yard work, gardening, playing softball in early years, listening to the Brewer games, and just puttering around the house. He was a member of Eagles Aerie #270.Surviving is his wife, Florence, a daughter, Barbara Toney of Highlands Ranch, CO, a son, Patrick of Fond du Lac, a Foster Daughter, Shirley Thiede of North Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, John, Timothy, and David Toney, and Melissa (Patrick) Shea, and 13 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister, Ann Kaiser of Fond du Lac. His parents, a son, Carl Jr., seven brothers, and four sisters preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Carl Schuppe will be on Friday, May 2, 2008, from 9 to 11 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 am at the funeral home on Friday. The Rev. Robert Rosenberg will officiate and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Mr. Schuppe's name. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
