Carol A. Moon

Carol A. Moon, 75 of North Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born November 18, 1942 in Oshkosh, the daughter of Aloisous and Cecelia Matschi Troiber. On July 20, 1963 she married James A. Moon at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac and they would have celebrated 55 years next month. Carol worked for Wells Manufacturing for 25 years. She enjoyed country music, Elvis Presley, the Brewers, and the Packers.



She is survived by her husband, James; son, Todd “AJ” (Linda Leichtfuss-Moon) Moon of Oshkosh; step granddaughter, Katy Leichtfuss; three siblings, Marilyn Kleinhans, Cindy Marquez, and Dale Troiber; in laws, Ronald Cider, Donald (Marcia) Moon, Lyle (Pat) Moon, Harvey (Paula) Moon, Patricia (Walter) Gellings, and David (Cindy) Moon; dear friends, Joyce and George Burns; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Julene Cole, Gloria Cider, and Richard Troiber; and sister-in-law, Carol Troiber.



The visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the traditional service.



The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Fond du Lac Dialysis Center and the gracious and professional staff at Hospice Home of Hope for their care and compassion given to Carol and her family.
