Carol A. Schrank

Carol A. Schrank, 69, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully at her home on Monday, March 24, 2014. She was born March 11, 1945 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Ronald and Alta (Theyerl) Blackburn. She attended Goodrich High School. On September 14, 1963, she married Daniel Schrank at the Church of Peace in Fond du Lac.She will be remembered for being a loving wife to her devoted husband of 50 years, Dan. She was a passionate, selfless, and an unconditionally giving mother and grandmother. Carol was a life-long friend to many. Carol is survived by her husband, Daniel, her three children; Lauri (special friend Paul Rawlsky) Amrhein, Cheryl (Thomas) Langenhorst, and Mark Schrank, all of Fond du Lac, five grandchildren; Jared (Alecia) Amrhein of Groton, CT, Erin (Jason) Mikulec of Beaufort, SC, Michael Langenhorst of Fond du Lac, and Justin and Jordan Schrank, both of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by two sisters; Betty Peachy of Fond du Lac and Linda Riley of Oregon and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her biological father, Michael Kwiatkowski.



A visitation for Carol will be held on Friday March 28, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. The funeral will follow the visitation at 12:00 P.M. with the Rev. James F.D. Martin presiding. Burial will follow the services at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
