CAROL A. HUNT



Carol A. Hunt, 73, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born August 23, 1943 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Clarence and Janet Murphy Grainger. On February 1, 1964 she married James W. Hunt in Fond du Lac, and he preceded her in death on February 25, 2013. Carol volunteered at St. Peter’s Lutheran School, Luther Memorial Church, and Winnebago Lutheran Academy. Most recently Carol enjoyed exercising with friends at the Lutheran Home. She also enjoyed gardening, bon fires, camping, antique shopping, and loved flowers and spending time with friends and family.



She is survived by her three children, Wendy (William Raabe) Holz of Fond du Lac, Vicki (Tony Neumeyer) Pilak of Fond du Lac, and Matthew (Lisa) Hunt of Lomira; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Holz, Joseph Holz, Jarrett Holz, Patricia (Joshua) Uphold, Brenda (Bo) Patterson, Alexander Hunt and Logan Hunt; two great grandchildren, Alayna Holz and Brooklynn Patterson; four step siblings, Sharon Meyer of DePere, June Thorsland of Oakfield, Bob Johnson of Waupaca, and Jane Schmit of Waupun; two sisters-in-law, Linda (Lee) Faris of Fond du Lac and Mary (Brian) Casper of Brownsville; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; son-in-law, Bruce Holz; grandson, Jors Holz; two brothers and two sisters-in-law.



The visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Luther Memorial Church.



The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Luther Memorial Church. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.
