Carol W. Dykstra

Carol W. Dykstra, 84, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, February 21, 2025 at Adelaide Place. She was born June 26, 1940 in Columbia County, the daughter of Willard and Margaret Posthuma Dykstra. She graduated from Cambria High School. On May 15, 1959 she married Peter C. Dykstra in Friesland, WI. Carol worked in the Public Health Department for Fond du Lac County until her retirement in 2002. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was a Deacon and involved in the Women’s Circle. She enjoyed quilting, going out for fish frys and old fashioneds and loved spending time with her family especially her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Peter; daughter Kathy (Winnie) Fink; son, Todd Dykstra; grandchildren, Chris (Maddie) Fink, Daniel (Leah) Fink, Cassie Dykstra, and Molly (Ken) Angle; great grandchildren, Brianna, Abby, Stephanie, Owen, Porter, Nola, and Ayden; brother, Warren (Barb) Dykstra; sisters-in-law, Marion Alsum and Dorothy Dykstra; nephews, Ward (Marlo) Dykstra and their children, Grace and Riley and John (Lisa) Dykstra and their children, Wyatt and Charli, and other nieces and nephews; special friends, Patty and Pat Vogds, Carter, Amanda, and Evie Vogds, Casey and Chris Mueller, Maeve and Finley Mueller; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kelly Ann Dykstra.

The visitation will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home on Saturday. Cremation has taken place.
