Carol E. Goldapske, 74, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at All About Life Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 7, 1936 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Bernard and Viola Vandermolen Mohr. On October 8, 1955 she married Frederick D. Goldapske in Fort Hood, Texas. Carol was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She worked at Wells Manufacturing for 20 years. She was a member of Women's Ducks Unlimited and Sturgeons for Tomorrow. Carol enjoyed fishing, birds, rummage sales, gardening, canning, gambling, going up north, and especially loved taking care of her family.SURVIVORS: her husband, Fred; one son, Ron (Vickie) Goldapske, Van Dyne; one grandson, Jackson; six brothers-in-law, Paul (Karen) Goldapske, Van Dyne, Elmer (Billie Jean) Goldapske, North Fond du Lac, Henry (Pat) Goldapske, North Fond du Lac, Walt Goldapske, Sun City, AZ, Leonard (Marge) Goldapske, North Fond du Lac, Charles Goldapske, Fond du Lac; special niece and nephew, Richard and Linda Toetz, Sun City, AZ; her favorite dog, Buffy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; five infant children; one brother, Bernard (Tatsui) Mohr; three brothers-in-law, Robert, Art and John; three sisters-in-law, Minnie, Alga and Annie.
VISITATION: will be from 2 "“ 5 PM on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Redeemer Lutheran Church. The funeral service will be held at 5 PM on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Fred Toppe officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services with inurnment in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.Memorials are appreciated to Redeemer Lutheran Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
