Carol Jean Hintz

Carol J. Hintz, 59, of W9227 Rose-Eld Road, Eldorado, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at her residence. She was born May 8, 1952, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Frank and Genevieve Fox Junaitis. Carol was a 1970 graduate of St. Mary's Springs High School and later received her Secretary's Associate Degree from Moraine Park Technical College. On June 9, 1973, she married Roger Hintz at Church of The Presentation-North Fond du Lac. Carol was employed by Holiday Inn for 36 years, retiring in 2011 due to ill health. She was a former Girl Scout leader who loved reading, painting, gardening, riding trike motorcycle with her husband, and enjoying her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Roger, a daughter, Sue (Dominic) Miller and a son, Greg (Heidi) Hintz, both of Oshkosh, two grandchildren, Ian and Alexia, a sister, Karen (Gary) Theisen of Fond du Lac, and a brother, Ken (Sharon) Leu of Green Lake. Her parents preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Carol J. Hintz will be on Saturday, March 24, 2012, from 9 AM to 12 Noon at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of The Word for Christian Burial will be at 12 Noon at the funeral home on Saturday. The Rev. Edward Sippel will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
