Carol L. Sohn

Carol L. Sohn, age 64, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at her residence. She was born on December 21, 1946 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of E. Ray Schuppe and Dorothy (Ebelt) Mehler. Carol loved children and her career was spent working in child care. She was a longtime member of The Salvation Army Church and taught the Adult Sunday School. She achieved rank of Corps Sargeant-Major in The Salvation Army. Carol enjoyed playing piano at The Salvation Army and Franklin House. She loved spending time with her family and especially loved Christmas time. Carol really loved her cat "Cortana". Carol was always a positive person and was a woman of strong faith. SURVIVORS: three children, Shawn Cumber of CO, Randy Cumber of OR, Aaron (girlfriend Cassie Meyer) Sohn of Fond du Lac, two grandchildren, one brother, Dave (Susie) Schuppe of Fond du Lac, one sister, Susan (Jerry) Fadness of Plover, WI, her step-mother, Florence Schuppe of Fond du Lac, one step-sister, Suzanne Rausch, and other relatives and friends who affectionately called her "Aunt Carol". She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, and one step-sister.



VISITATION: Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at The Salvation Army, 237 N. Macy St, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at The Salvation Army with Envoys Doug and Beverly Peterson officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
