Carolyn Joyce Moon

Carolyn Joyce Moon, 99, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, October 21, 2022, at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation. She was born August 7, 1923, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Arthur and Nola (Finch) Miller. On December 31, 1942, she married Edwin O. Moon in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on November 2, 2012. Joyce was a member of Fond du Lac County Homemakers and Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale, and very active in Ladies Aid, bible study, and Sunday school. She enjoyed gardening and what made her most happy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by eight children, James (Linda) Moon, Joan (Larry) Conners, Alan (Sue) Moon, Carol (David) Marchant, Sandra (Dennis) Patterson, Michael (Lynn) Moon, Richard (Jane) Moon, and Darin (Yvonne Cheevers) Moon; 19 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Miller and Shirley Miller; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and seven siblings, Myrtle (Elmer) Wilke, Leroy Miller, Edgar Miller, Ellen (Eddie) Gumz, Ronald Miller, William Miller, and Rhea (Ronald) Frieberg.

The visitation will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday at the church. Burial will be held in Rosendale Cemetery.
