Catharine Rose Eggers

Catharine R. Eggers, age 77, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 21, 1940, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Clarence and Dorothea (Smith) Amrhein. On May 14, 1960 she married John E. Eggers. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2004. Catharine enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.



Survivors include two children, Denise (Jeffery) Birschbach of Mt. Calvary, John (Karen) Eggers of Waupun; two grandchildren, Kimberly (Ryan) McDonough of Oak Creek, Ryan (Jessica) Birschbach; one great-grandchild, Owen McDonough; two brothers, Casper “Cap” (Kay “Casey”) Amrhein of Eldorado, Charles (Dorothy) Amrhein of Fond du Lac; one sister, Judy (James) Edwards of OH; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; one infant sister, Genevieve Amrhein; two brothers, Frank (Edna) Amrhein, and Orlin Amrhein; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Winnifred Roloff, Jean (Arden) Hjelle, Charles Eggers, Mary Mae (Joseph) Parish, and Arnold Roloff Sr.



Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, from 1:30-4:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 4:30 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
