Catherine A. Peachy

Catherine A. Peachy, 72, of 630 W. Arndt Street, died Friday, October 6, 2006, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 23, 1934, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Orren M. and Amanda M. Rady Burroughs. Catherine was formerly employed by the West Bend Company for 17 years, and later by Manor Care Nursing Home. Following her retirement, she became an avid bingo player.Surviving are two daughters, Jackie Ewer and Janice Potratz, both of North Fond du Lac, a son, Thomas (Kelly) Peachy of St. Peter, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Edna Briester of Fond du Lac and a brother, Donald (Jennie) Burroughs of De Pere. Her parents, four sisters, and a brother, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Catherine A. Peachy will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, from 11 am to 2 pm at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, N6250 County Trunk K, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 2 pm. The Rev. Dean Desilet will officiate and entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mrs. Peachy's name. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
