Catherine M. "Katie" Rock

Catherine "Katie" M. Rock, 83, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at her daughter's home. She was born the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Kramer Hupfer on March 28, 1924 in Fond du Lac. On June 23, 1945 she married Eldon "Pete" F. Rock at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Katie was a member of Holy Family Parish "“ St. Mary's Church and the Good Samaritans. In her early years she worked for Infant Socks and seasonally at Miles Kimball. She was a member of the Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie No. 270. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, bus trips to the casino, and reading. She was a wonderful homemaker, baker and loved spending time with her family and friends.SURVIVORS: one daughter, Vicky (Gary) Pucker, Eldorado; one son, Jeff (Sue) Rock, Fond du Lac; two granddaughters, Ashley and Faren; one sister, Betty George, Rancho Cordova, CA; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one infant daughter, Mary, one sister, Mary Capelle; four brothers, Joseph Sr., Frank, Alfred and John Hupfer.



VISITATION: will be from 9-11AM on Friday, July 27, 2007 at Holy Family Parish, St. Mary's Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11AM at the church with Rev. Vic Capriolo officiating.
