Catherine M. Keenan, 82 of North Fond du Lac, died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Fond du Lac on June 29, 1930 the daughter of Everett and Josephine Fisher Perry. On October 9, 1954 she married James F. Keenan, Jr. at St. John's Catholic Church, Woodhull. James preceded her in death on March 1, 1997.Catherine worked as a secretary for the Salvation Army and United Way from where she retired. She was a member of Presentation Catholic Church, North Fond du Lac. Catherine loved cats, bingo, reading and watching her grandchildren at sporting events. After her retirement Catherine volunteered at the United Way.SURVIVORS: She is survived by her four children; Barbara (John) Lettau, Fond du Lac, Mary (Gerald) Denzin, Waupun, Kim Keenan, Rowlett, Texas, James F (Jane) Keenan III, North Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren; Jason (Erin) Lettau, Oshkosh, Ryan (Shelly) Lettau, Wauwatosa, Cody Lettau, Portland, Oregon, Laura (special friend Aaron Voigt) Denzin, Appleton, Kelley Keenan, College Station, Texas, Justin (Angelique) Keenan, North Fond du Lac, Brandon (Nicole) Keenan, North Fond du Lac, four great-grandchildren; Lincoln and Jeremiah Lettau, Bradley and Leah Keenan. Catherine is further survived by her cat Sweetie, sister Dolores Hinn Grafton, brother-in-laws Jerome Keenan, John Wendels, sister-in-laws Rosemary Fortunato, Elaine Bauer (Raymond), and Patricia Hornes. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother-in-laws Carl Hinn, Robert Keenan, Donald Keenan, Joseph Fortunato, Robert Hornes and sister-in-laws Madelyn Wendels and Shirley Keenan.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at Presentation Catholic Church, North Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Presentation Catholic Church, North Fond du Lac. Reverend John Simon will officiate. Cremation has taken place with inurnment in St. John's Parish Cemetery, Woodhull at a later date.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
