Cecilia Quakenboss

Cecilia Quakenboss, 73, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at Central Du Page Hospital, Du Page, IL. She was born February 20, 1931, in St. Cloud, WI, the daughter of Frank and Martha Schneider Quakenboss. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and was formerly employed as Office Manager of Radiology-Fond du Lac until her retirement in 1993. Survivors include two nieces; Rita (Bruce) Kain of Earlville, IL, and Glenda (Bruno) Shimkus of Plainfield, IL, three nephews; Frank (Linda) Olson of Glendale Heights, IL, Glen (Jan) Olson of Fairfield, CA, and Royal (Joan) Townsend of Lombard, IL. Further surviving are 10 great-nieces and nephews, and two great great-nieces. Her parents, three sisters; Angela Quakenboss, Marie Townsend, and Alice Olson, a niece, Pauline Olsen, and one great-nephew, Kevin Kain, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Miss Cecilia Quakenboss will be on Monday, July 30, 2007, from 12 noon until 2 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
