Charles A. Reiter

Charles A. Reiter, Sr. age 83 of W7112 Phoenix Drive, Fond du Lac and a resident of St. Francis Home since August 2007, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the home. He was born in Chicago, IL on October 9, 1924 the son of Walter A. and Lillian E. Lundin Reiter. On December 25, 1945 he married Phyllis Rall at Forest Park, IL. Phyllis preceded him in death on June 2, 2007. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Charles was a pressman for the Chicago Tribune for 41 years retiring in 1986. He had been a Fond du Lac resident since 1996 and enjoyed fishing.Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Reiter, Elgin, IL., Cathy (Edward) Antonio, Wisconsin Dells, a son, Charles (Diane) Reiter, Jr., Fond du Lac, three grandchildren, Tony and Adam Antonio, and Lindsey Reiter. Charles is further survived by a brother-in-law, Frederick (Peggy) Ralls II of Dayton, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a infant brother and one sister.
