Charles R. Bebow, 77, of Fond du Lac, died on Friday, August 23, 2024, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on March 29, 1947, in Fond du Lac, the son of Darrel and Okla (Webster) Bebow. Charles graduated from Oakfield High School in 1965 and later earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh in Business. On October 25, 1985, Charles married Connie Geisthardt Morrison at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oakfield. He worked at Mercury Marine as a manager for 37 years. Charles was a member of the Lewis and Clark Foundation, Great Lakes Chapter. In his spare time, Charles liked to snowmobile, travel camp, 4-wheeling, working on his John Deere, taking Canada and Lake Erie fishing trips with his friends, crossbow hunting, and also teaching snowmobile safety for 20 plus years. His greatest love was for his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; two children, Joseph (Kari) and Aaron (Terri) Morrison; five grandchildren, Calvin, Sydney, Anikka, Elise, and Audry; mother-in-law, Beatrice Geisthardt; sister, Janet (Richard) Zehren; three brothers-in-law, Ron (Lorilyn), Dean (Angela), and Lyle (Connie) Geisthardt; sister-in-law, Sharon (Dave) Barta; two fishing buddies, Bill Hamock and Lee Oestreich; close neighbor and friend, Mary (the late, Tom) Strauss; close high school friends, Mike and Mary O’Laire; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrel and Okla; father-in-law, Roland Geishardt; brother Donald (Nancy) Bebow; and nephew, Steven Bebow.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Lamartine Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
