Charles E. Hamilton Sr.

Charles E. Hamilton, Sr., 68, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born April 3, 1950 in Milwaukee, the son of Wilfred and Marcine Beckman Hamilton. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from July 1967 – July 1969. He worked for Mercury Marine until his retirement in 2011. Charles enjoyed playing cards, music, and loved traveling.



He is survived by three sons, Chuck Jr. (Jessica) Hamilton of Cudahy, WI, James Hamilton of Embarrass, WI, and Justin Hamilton of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren, Collin, Aidan, Asher, Holden, Landon, and Job; one brother, John (Julie) Hamilton of Fond du Lac; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jim Hamilton; and one sister, Karen Estrada.



Visitation will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be held in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove at a later date.
