Charles H. Wagner

Charles H. Wagner, 83, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on October 31, 1939, in Van Dyne, the son of Clifford and Mildred (Kober) Wagner. Charles served in the U.S. Army. On February 17, 1962, he married Kathleen Gurath in Fond du Lac. Charles worked for the railroad until his retirement in 2002. He worked at the Fond du Lac Skyport from 2002 to 2019.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey Wagner; brother, Pete Wagner; three sisters Mary Lou Lavrenz, Alice Rasmussen, and Sue McCredie; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathleen; and three brothers, Donald, Arthur William, and Daniel Wagner.

The visitation will be held on January 7, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will follow the visitation at Calvary Cemetery.
