Charles M. Rhodes Ii

Charles M. Rhodes II, age 68, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at his residence. He was born on August 13, 1952, in Hinsdale, IL, the son of Charles and Gretchen (Grant) Rhodes. Chuck started the Mad Hatteur in 1973 and ran it until retiring six years ago. He loved going to Creede, CO, Elkhart Lake, going to EAA, playing backgammon, and going to Kohler-Andrae State Park. Chuck loved all kinds of music. He loved his dogs Candy and Bear, and his cats Rollie, Patches, and Star.



Survivors include his significant other of thirty-five years, Maryann Klimas; one sister, Ginger Schneider; two nieces, Kristi Cable, Cat Pogatshnik; special friend, Mike Bigsby; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Judy Williams; one brother-in-law, Henry A. Schneider.



A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
