Charles E. Schwebke

Charles E. Schwebke passed away peacefully at his home on March 9, 2025. Born November 1, 1944, to Edwin and Doris Schwebke in Fond du Lac, WI.

Chuck married (his Bride) Carolyn Christie on February 11, 1967. Chuck served in Vietnam and spent many years working at Mercury Marine until his retirement in 2007. After retirement Chuck and Carolyn move to their retirement home in Hancock, WI.

Chuck had a great love for outdoors, hunting, fishing, and just enjoying nature and the peace and quiet. Chuck also enjoyed building things, he was always working on projects.

Chuck had a special attachment to cats. It seemed like every cat in the county would show up at his door and he welcomed them with open arms and even would train them. (Cats love 4-wheeler rides by the way)

Charles was proceeded in death by his parents, brother James Schwebke and Sister Marlene Faust. Charles leaves behind his devoted bride of 58 years Carolyn, loving son Scott, who he always introduced as my boy, a special daughter-in-law Nikki that he loved like a daughter, granddaughter Kahla Schwebke and great grandchildren Brian and Onalisa.

Private family services have taken place. Entombment has taken place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
