Chester J. "Chet" Teskey

Chester "Chet" J. Teskey, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born the son of Joseph and Ella Biederwolf Teskey on February 29, 1920 in Sheboygan, WI. On January 11, 1947 he married Betty J. Neese in Sheboygan. Chet served during WWII in the Army Air Corp. He was a member of Holy Family Parish "“ St. Joe's Church. He taught for various schools in the Fond du Lac School district, retiring from Sabish Middle School in 1982. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Packers, spending time with his dogs, teaching summer school classes and eating M&Ms. He also loved swimming and spending time with his grandchildren.SURVIVORS: his wife, Betty; five children, Jan (Jerry) Kramer, Watertown, Donna (Tom) Lehner, Fond du Lac, Steven (Marlene) Teskey, North Fond du Lac, Barb Teskey, Fond du Lac and Bev (Ray) Farr, Rosendale; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Pat Schneider, Sheboygan; one brother, Jim Teskey, Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson and two sisters.



VISITATION: will be from 9 "“ 11 AM on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Holy Family Parish "“ St. Joe's Church. The Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 AM on Thursday at church with Rev. Patrick Heppe officiating. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
