Christine J. Hron

Christine J. Hron, 67, of 36 Olcott Street, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at her residence. She was born February 1, 1944, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Lloyd and La Verne Thorsen Clarke. Christine was a 1962 graduate of St. Mary's Springs Academy and 1970 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where she received her Bachelor's of Science and Education and Masters Degree in Counseling. On October 22, 1966, she married John Hron at St. Mary's Church. After graduation, she was employed by the Fond du Lac School District. Chris enjoyed fishing, long walks, reading, especially mysteries, and games of chance. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Mary's Church. Surviving is her husband, three daughters, Carrie (David) Simon of Fond du Lac, Molly (Ben) Bollenbacher and Sara (Chris) Hron, both of Appleton, and seven grandchildren, Lily and Charlie Simon, Olivia, Noah, Andrew, and Eleanor Bollenbacher, and Georgia Kaddatz. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and Robert Clarke.



Cremation will take place. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
