Christine M. Magdefrau

Christine M. Magdefrau, 51, of N7635 Highway 149, Town of Taycheedah, died Monday, January 24, 2005, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born May 27, 1953, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Edward R. "Royce" and Mary Sue Schanlon Clausen. On September 9, 1973, she married John L. Magdefrau at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. Christine was a graduate of Goodrich High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac Campus. She enjoyed knitting. Surviving is her husband, John, two aunts, LaVerne Bonnin of Appleton, and Charlotte Flanders of Tucson, AZ, a sister-in-law, Susan (Tony) Steinmetz of Fond du Lac, 13 cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, including her best friend, Pam Mand of St. Peter. Her parents, a stillborn daughter, Joanne, and a brother preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Christine M. Magdefrau will be on Friday, January 28, 2005, from 9:30 to 11 am at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 28, 2005, at 11 am at the church. The Rev. John Simon will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment of cremated remains will be in Calvary Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
