Claire W. Lemke

Claire W. Lemke, 65, formerly of 502 Indiana Avenue, North Fond du Lac, died Sunday, January 27, 2013, at ManorCare Nursing Home where she had been a resident since September of 2012. She was born June 23, 1947, in Wauwatosa, the daughter of Clarence W. and Dalla F. Dowland Radtke. She was a 1967 graduate of Goodrich High School. On March 1, 1969, she married James R. Lemke in Fond du Lac. Claire was a Brownie/Girl Scout leader, and was a Fond du Lac Area M.S. Support Group Facilitator for many years. She enjoyed gardening, gambling at the casinos, but most of all, being with her family. Surviving is her husband, James, two daughters, Ellen (James) Barber of West Bend, and Molly Resop of Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, James and Alyssa Barber, David Jorgensen, Sara, Krystin, and Kaytlin Resop, and a sister, Jeanne Sedore of Riverbank, CA. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and her very good friend, Chuckie DeWitt, of Fond du Lac.



Visitation for Claire W. Lemke will be on Friday, February 1, 2013, from 3 to 6 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 6 PM at the funeral home on Friday. The Rev. Robert Rosenberg will officiate. Cremation has taken place. The family requests that memorials be directed to the National M.S.
