Clarence Bernard “CB” LeFeber, age 103, passed away on May 21, 2018 in Titusville, FL. He was born on November 25, 1914 in St. Cloud, WI, to Michael and Anna (Haehn) Lefeber. He served in the United States Army during World War II. CB married June Scheller on her 20th birthday in 1946 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. They had a son Wayne Robert “Bobby” born on March 23, 1947. Bobby was killed in Vietnam on April 9, 1968.
CB and June owned and operated Stout Music Center in Fond du Lac for thirteen years. CB worked at the US Postal Office during this time and continued on until retirement. He then moved to Titusville, FL where he had many close friends and great neighbors. Don and Anne Conover were always there for him. June resides in Oceanside, CA. CB was a member of St. Theresa Parish in Titusville, a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, and the V.F.W.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Harvey (Judy) Franzen, Sharon Franzen, Joan Guell, Michael (Sharyn) Lefeber, Melody (John) Hoffman, Steven (Sharon) Lefeber, Ronald (Jayne Lobajeski) Lefeber, Mark (Rose) Lefeber, Rick (Kris) Lefeber, Jim (Peggy) Lefeber, David (Chris) Lefeber, Barry (Donna) Denslow, Bruce (Anne) Denslow; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Wayne Robert; sister, Cordelia (Ed) Franzen; brother, Melvin (Dorothy) Lefeber; sister, Alice (Paul) Denslow; brother, Robert Lefeber; sister-in-law, Gloria Lefeber Denslow; nephew, David Franzen.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery, 686 Fond du Lac Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Cremation has taken place and entombment will follow in the mausoleum.
