Clarence C. Pea, 92, of North Fond du Lac, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at his residence with loved ones by his side. He was born March 10, 1926 in Beloit, WI, the son of Alonzo and Dorthea Smith Pea. Clarence served in the U.S. Army stationed in Seoul, Korea during WWII. On June 5, 1976 he married Marilyn I. Stafford at Oakfield United Methodist Church. Clarence farmed his entire life, retiring in 1995. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church in North Fond du Lac. He enjoyed reading, flowers, bird watching, music, history, traveling, playing cards, movies and musicals, his dogs, playing dart ball, attending his nieces and nephews activities, and most of all loved family get togethers and chocolate.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two brothers, Irvin (Arlene) Pea of Fond du Lac and Marvin (Bernadine) Pea of Waupun; two brothers-in-law, James Stafford of Wautoma and Dan (Joye) Stafford of Oakfield; special nieces and nephews, Tina (Ken) Johnson, Angela Stafford, Tiffany Stafford, and Dave (Misty) Stafford; many other special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Floyd and Anita Stafford; three sisters-in-law, Alice (Carl) Sjoquist, Lavelda (Thomas) Royer, and Marlene Stafford; and his dogs, Daisy and Sadie.
The visitation will be held from 3:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Thursday at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 AM.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Community United Methodist Church in North Fond du Lac. Burial will take place in Avoca Cemetery.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Agnesian Hospice for the care and compassion given to Clarence and his family.
