Clarence H. SchafrikClarence H. Schafrik, 84, of W4762 Golf Course Drive, Town of Taycheedah, died Saturday, August 28, 2004, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born September 20, 1919, in Oconto Falls, the son of Michael and Wanda Zagenhagen Schafrik. On September 11, 1943, he married Irene Immel in St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Mr. Schafrik was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. He was a journeyman carpenter/millwright. Clarence was a veteran of WW II serving with the US Army in the South Pacific, and was a member of Bohlman-Grimes VFW Post #1904.Surviving is his wife, Irene, a son Michael (Laura Tomter) Schafrik and a daughter, Kathleen (Richard) Cochran, all of Milwaukee, three grandchildren, Brian, Michael, and Stacy Schafrik, all of Milwaukee, and four great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister, Dorthea (Clarence) Jaeger, and a brother, Alvin Schafrik, all of Oconto Falls. His parents, four sisters, Helen, Elsie, Esther, and Erna, and a brother, Walter, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Clarence H. Schafrik will be on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, from 5 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Rev. David Lieske will officiate and cremation will follow traditional services.
