Clarence L. Lawver, 80 of Fond du Lac died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at the Hospice Home of Hope. He was born on November 11, 1926 in Park Falls, WI the son of Joseph and Laura Smith Lawver. On November 23, 1983 he married Betty Schwandt in Fond du Lac. Clarence was a veteran serving in the U. S. Army from 1944-45. He was a retired road master for Soo Line Railroad. Clarence enjoyed fishing, traveling, and loved his grandchildren. He was a member of Fond du Lac Veteran's of Foreign Wars..He is survived by his wife, Betty Schwandt- Lawver , Fond du Lac, son, Larry (Laurie) Lawver, Park Falls, WI, a daughter, Connie (Steve) Henslin, Campbellsport, a step-daughter, Judy LaBoy, Appleton, 3 step-sons, Dan Schwandt, Glen Flora, WI, David JoEllen) Schwandt, Neenah, and Richard Schwandt, Reedsburg, WI, 7 grandchildren, Paul (Kirsten) Henslin, William (Michelle) Henslin, Stephanie (Ryan) Jackson, Nichole (Anthony) McCormick, Jessica Schwandt, Nicholas and Elizabeth LaBoy, 2 great grandsons; Joshua Henslin, and Jack Klundt, two sisters, Ruth Graffinger of Park Falls, and Jane (Al) Nieratka of Milwaukee. Preceded inn death by his first wife Mary (Fleming) Lawver, parents, sister Bernice "Tootie" Lobermeier.
Cremation has taken place. Private family inurnment will take place at Nola Cemetery, Park Falls, WI at a later date..Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
