Clarence R. "Eddie" Ochs, 83, of N4785 Maple Drive, Town of Oakfield, died Friday, May 6, 2011, at his residence. He was born March 3, 1928, in Fond du Lac, the son of Oscar "Curly" and Evangeline Temple Ochs. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School. Eddie was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He was employed for over 40 years by Galloway-West/Saputo as a boiler technician. Surviving are two sisters, Evlyn Janis of Daytona Beach, FL, and Kay Franke of Port Orange, FL, a brother, Peter R. (Kathleen) Ochs of Eldorado, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. His parents and a brother, Carroll Ochs, preceded him in death.
Visitation for Clarence R. "Eddie" Ochs will be Thursday, May 12, 2011, from 9 AM to 12 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Graveside military rites will be conducted Thursday afternoon at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.
