Clayton J. Shepro

Clayton J. Shepro , 80, 508 North Hickory Street, died Sunday, August 6,2006 at the Hospice Home of Hope. Clayton was born in Fond du Lac on December 27,1922 the son of Edward and Etta Lapine Shepro.On January 18,1947 he married Shirley J. Dietz and made their home in Fond du Lac. Shirley preceded him in death on October 21,2003.Clayton was a veteran of World War II serving in the European Theater. He was employed at G& L working as a crane operator and later as a carpenter. He loved to stream trout fishing, and perch fishing on Lake Winnebago. Clayton was a life member of Wescott Sportmans's Club and one of ten members who formed the club.Survivors include on son, Gregory Shepro, Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews and some very special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son Jeffery, and 13 brothers and sisters.



Friends may call on Wednesday, August 9,2006 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Services to follow the visitation. Burial will be at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
