Clifford G. Nehring

Clifford G. Nehring, of North Fond du Lac, went to his heavenly home on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on December 31, 1945, in Milwaukee, the son of Martin and Inez (Pieffle) Nehring, Clifford proudly served in the U.S. Army in Korea in 1962 and Vietnam in 1964. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion in Lomira. Clifford was a lifelong carpenter. He was also a member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac. On June 22, 1968, he married Teresa Brown at Hope Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. 

He is survived by his wife, Teresa; three children, Ann (Brian) Henke, Jennifer Shipley, and Jeff (Alexandrea) Nehring; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Luella Snyder. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Inez; sister, Kathleen; and brother, Milton.

The visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Divine Savior Lutheran Church, 1081 Prospect Avenue, North Fond du Lac, WI 54937. The funeral service will follow the visitation at church at 3:00 PM. Military Honors will conclude the services. Cremation has taken place.
