Clifford R. Stukenberg, age 82 of 169 Hoyt Street, died Sunday, January 17, 2010 at his residence. He was born on October 28,1927 in Milwaukee the son of Reginald and Elizabeth Richter Stukenberg. On February 11, 1950 he married Mary Husar at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Mary preceded him in death on February 13, 2009. Clifford was a graduate of Messmer High School Class of 1944. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army in Germany. He was employed with Briggs & Stratton for over 35 years retiring in 1983. He was a member of Holy Family "“Sacred Heart Parish where he and his wife had cleaned the church for a number of years. Clifford continued cleaning the church up to a few weeks prior to his death. Clifford was a faithful and devoted father, grand and great grandfather. SURVIVORS: eight children, Thomas (Susan) Stukenberg, Guatemala, Jeanne (Gary) Klebar, Fond du Lac, Carol Stuht, Campbellsport, Patricia (Dan) Koch, Kewaskum, Daniel (Denise) Stukenberg, Campbellsport, William (Suzanne) Stukenberg, East Troy, Jane (Scott) Jakus, Sheboygan, Robert (Bernadette) Stukenberg, West Allis, over 50 grandchildren and over 20 great grandchildren, and one sister, Elizabeth "Betty" (Steve) Kucek, Milwaukee. His parents, wife, and two sisters preceded him in death.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 10:30 AM.
