Colleen M. Firks

Colleen M. Firks, 58, of 393 Tompkins Street, died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at her residence. She was born June 15, 1951, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Robert & Betty Wischnewski Heise. On August 15, 1970, she married Leonard Firks at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac where she currently a member. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2008. Saputo Cheese currently employed Colleen. Surviving are two sisters, Cassandra (Patrick) Harding and Kathleen Kahlhammer, both of Fond du Lac, her aunt and uncle, Arnold (Betty) Heise of North Fond du Lac, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and her two cats, Abby and Libby. Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Colleen M. Firks will be on Thursday, June 25, 2009, from 11 to 2 pm at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Avenue, North Fond du Lac.Funeral Services will be held at 2PM with the Rev. Thomas Behnke and Rev. Michael Kampman officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Colleen's name.
