Colleen R. Jaber

Colleen R. Jaber, 73, of 544 S. Park Avenue, died Saturday, February 13, 2010, at her residence. She was born May 6, 1936, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Clyde Barnes and Anita Faust Cotter. On January 23, 1954, she married Donald Jaber in Fond du Lac. Colleen was a member of Lighthouse Christian Church. She touched our community and our lives with her selfless nature and quick wit and the "Jaberhood" door was always open. Surviving is her husband, Donald, two sons, Daniel (Juli) Jaber of Rawlins, WY, and Michael (Heidi) Jaber of Fond du Lac, a daughter, Susan Jaber-Faris of Fond du Lac, two grandsons, Carson Faris of Newport Beach, CA, and Grayson Jaber of Fond du Lac, and two granddaughters, Dani Jaber of Rawlins, WY, and Amani Jaber of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by sisters, Kathleen Cronin and Marilyn Kielman, both of Fond du Lac, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends including her special friends Dianne (Ray) Mullenix- Tadgerson of DeWitt, MI, Ron (Terri) Emanuel and Tyler Lavey of Fond du Lac. Her devoted dog, Sassi, also survives her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Therese Barnes, her daughter, Kathleen, brothers-in-law, Eugene Jaber and Richard Cronin, her mother-in-law, Marina Jaber, and father-in-law, George Jaber.



Visitation for Colleen Jaber will be on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, from 3 to 6 pm at Lighthouse Christian Church, 401 S. National Avenue, Fond du Lac. Memorial services will be at 6 pm at the church on Tuesday. The Rev. Brent Balken will officiate and inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
