Conrad “Connie” F. Schneider, 93, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, October 22, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born December 13, 1924 in Chilton, the son of Emanuel and Pauline Casper Schneider. On June 11, 1955 he married Joyce M. Miller at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Conrad worked for Canvas Products, Medalist Industries, and McGregor Industries until his retirement. After retirement he worked part time for Service Master. Conrad was a member of Holy Family Parish. He enjoyed puzzle books, jig saw puzzles, sheepshead, roller skating, taking Sunday drives, watching the Milwaukee Brewers, and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; four sons, Kevin Schneider of Fond du Lac, DuWayne (Kathy) Schneider of Fond du Lac, Greg (Laurie) Schneider of North Fond du Lac, and Dean (Chris) Schneider of Fond du Lac; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren. He is further survived by one brother, Roger (Margie) Schneider; five sisters, Marie Wellnitz, Rita Gallitz, Lucy (Terry) Brunette, Dolores Schneider, and Annie (Bob) Guse; sister-in-law, Barb Miller; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sibling, Romaine; four brothers, Reuben (Irene) Schneider, Servatious (Mary) Schneider, Robert (Gerry) Schneider, and Fredrick (Irene) Schneider; two sisters, Veronica (Ames) Deaver and Bernice Huck; four brothers-in-law, Edgar Wellnitz, John Gallitz, Frank (Annie) Miller, and John Miller; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Don) Thorpe, Betty (Fred) Mischo, and Jean (Bob) Leitner.
The visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish. Entombment will follow in Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
