Coral Jean Stacey

CORAL JEAN STACEYCoral Jean Stacey, age 62 of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, October 27,2005 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer with her family at her side. She was born in Fond du Lac on July 30,1943 the daughter of Clarence and Ila Osier Rosenthal. On September 20,1991 she married C. James Stacey. Coral was employed with the Fond du Lac School District for 25 years. Seventeen of those years spent as an elementary school secretary at Pier Elementary. Coral also worked for a short time at Ascension Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Church of Peace-United Church of Christ. Coral enjoyed quilting, antiquing, her Great Dane, Thunder. She also enjoyed attending her grandchildren's, sporting and special events.SURVIVORS: her husband, C. James Stacey, Fond du Lac, children, Gaile Tovar, and Julie (Steve) Tolzman, step-children, Mark (Dawn) Stacey, and Robert (Jean) Stacey all of Fond du Lac, eight grandchildren, Kaylie Tovar, Christina and Luke Tolzman, Dylan, Tyler, and Karson Stacey, Ashley and Austin Stacey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ila, Step-Mother, Helen Raulf Rosenthal, and one sister, Amber Uebele.



The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 1,2005 from 4-7 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Reverend Virginia Pych will officiate. Cremation has taken place with inurnment at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Fond du Lac Humane Society, Hospice Hope or the Church of Peace."Special thanks to Doctor's Ayala, Schuster, Lundberg , Mary Ketterhagen and the Hospice nurses and volunteers for their care and concern.
