Corinne L. Lewis

Corinne L. Lewis, 99, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the St. Ann's Rest Home in Milwaukee. She was born December 29, 1914 in Burlington, WI, the daughter of Harold and Donna (Tindel) Linnemann. On September 17, 1936, she married John R. Lewis, Sr. in Milwaukee. She enjoyed square dancing, singing as a family (she and her husband raised ten children), her grandchildren and watching professional wrestling on her black and white television. She also enjoyed camping every summer with her family. Corinne is survived by eight of her children; Judith (Gerry) Lesiecki, Mary (Russell) Schad, Elizabeth (Jim) Kriska, John "Jack" R. (Judith) Lewis, Jr., Kathleen Lewis, James (Laurie) R. Lewis, Joseph R. (Kim) Lewis, Jeffery R. Lewis and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughters, Mary Donna Friedel and Joanne (Richard) Rosenmeier, a son-in-law, James A. Friedel, a granddaughter, Jacquelyn Lesiecki and two great-grandchildren; Jerrod Lewis and Jerrod Kavinsky.



A visitation for Corinne will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 4th Street Road in Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac. Additional information and guestbook can be found at www.ueckerwitt.com .
